Hey FReeper's. I HATE to admit it,but I am TRULY becoming concerned about the election. I hate to sound negative, and I TRULY don't listen to the polls (with the exception of Rasmussen),but I am starting to get the sinking feeling, that we are SUNK, and that Obama is going to get re-elected, no matter HOW WELL, Mitt does on Wednesday night!
I TRULY think that there are more people, that are idiots and Kool Aid drinkers, then there are informed, rational, intelligent people (like those found here at FR), in our GREAT COUNTRY.
Am I off base here, or am I just starting to cave from being bombarded by all sides with Poll info, political commentators, and such?
Is there anyone else, that is starting to feel the same way as me?
Reagan was losing according to the MSM up to the last day before the election.
NO...NO....NO AND HELL NO.
I have FAITH and pray, therefore I do not doubt, it would only confuse GOD as to what I want.
EEYORE!
Wow! You win the title for using the word TRULY in caps THREE TIMES.
(just kidding)
Personally, it’s bad for my health to worry, so I try to “don’t worry, be happy.”
if people take notice of what an empty suit Obama is and how it is negatively impacting them, they will do what is in their self interest.
Obama so far has convinced his base and others that the gravy train can continue indefinitely.
Everyone is enjoying this delusion.
Have you volunteered to work phone banks for Romney?
I think all we need to know is that credible pollsters are telling confirming that the race is essentially neck in neck...50/50. Mitt has a golden opportunity at the debates. The more pessimistic side of me thinks that if America wants and elects Obama...then it deserves its fate. Contrary to what the idiots on the left think, it is not alarmist to say that if Obama wins the country could be permanently done for. GO MITT!
Turn your concern into positive action...rule it before it rules you.
Romney will win in Landslide. Think of all the young first time voters who got out and voted for Obama. They are now looking at the worst job market recent grads have ever seen. They will not vote for him this time around.
Demoralization is a weapon of the enemy. Don’t get it, don’t spread it!
No, all will be well. It won’t quite be a repeat of 1972 but the silent majority will once again be heard.
Drink a cup of tea, go to bed, and tomorrow start to work for the R/R campaign and you’ll feel much better.
If our fellow citizens would re-elect Obama based on his record and the results - we deserve what we get and our Republic is no more.
The country is only as good as the people - not the President. We have become a nation full of people view view government as a caretaker instead of a necessary evil that should be restrained by every generation. We have become a country full of idiots that view elections like an episode of American Idol or a reality television show completely ignorant of the consequences of policy.
That is my .02.
Too many bad white folks....union and younger numbnuts
Minorities....lost cause....and we let them in so they could eat us
You need to do more than get to the polls. You have to get five people to the polls with you. You are as many votes as people you can get to the polls. Have a neighbor that needs a ride?
You sure don’t post very often.
This is only your second post ever?
I’ve been taking wagers that the Black Messiah was going to win re-election since last year. The Big Money wants him in office—he’ll do anything they say, including handing them TRILLIONS of OUR dollars to play with while maintaining their phony wars and destruction of our republic.
Fourteen Freepers are included in the above wagering—they’ll be handing an average of fifty bucks apiece to their local SPCA’s, if they keep their honor. Silly things think RMoney is a real candidate. Ha.
If the Black Messiah loses, I don’t see it as a win for anyone since it makes NO DIFFERENCE who is president. The Big Money runs things, on all governmental levels. Sports on television has as much meaning as the elections to our real lives—none, in other words.
This isn’t meant as a cry of despair. It’s just reality.
I’m a pessimist, so I believe Obama will win the election with fraud on a level never before seen in the history of governments of the world, and nobody will say a damn thing about it, ever.
LITANY AGAINST FEAR
I must not fear.
Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear.
I will permit it to pass over me and through me.
And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
Where the fear has gone there will be nothing.
Only I will remain.
