Someone at Weight Watchers on Saturday thought Vlad was my grandson. He’s almost 7! Not that I couldn’t have a 7-year-old grandson without extreme scandal (two generations, 19 and 20) but I was only 39 when he was born!

Tom’s jeans are Walmart house brand. At least they were clean and free of holes. I certainly wasn’t going to fight over it Christmas morning. Frank was last seen carefully riding his scooter in the dining room, where the floor isn’t as hard as cement.

DP took some kids over to Lake Park to fly kites. There’s a traffic circle there with a field of several acres free of all obstructions. It’s very popular for kite-flying.

It is officially classified as a “lever-action pistol,” and thus can be carried concealed. I do have my cc permit, and reciprocating permits for all but three states.

I'll cheer you up....We bought an art set for our youngest step-grandchild, and she has already made 3 pictures for us to hang over the fireplace. The older one received an I-tunes card, and a diary with a lock. (to keep her younger sister out of it).

My daughter's son is due in Feb., and he stops kicking every time I put my hand on her tummy.

I gave my oldest grandchild a wooden art box full of all kinds of colors, from pastels and crayons to water colors and acrylics, when he was 13. He still has it, though he has had to replace lots of things. Art stuff is always good for fledgling artists. (Come to think of it, I no longer have any sketching paper or pencils...my bad...)

When you wrote, it was late evening on Christmas day. As I type this, it’s just after five in the morning on the 26th. I’m up because I must go to work. The sunny, flip side of that observation of course is that I’m blessed with gainful employment.

My holster is similar to “Slip on,” pictured in your post, but it has a length of about ten cartridge loops on flaps on either side of the central part of the pistol seat.

Bryan wants to hang my new pistol on the wall, it’s that pretty. I just want to shoot the thing, LOL!
