Welcome back. And don’t ever lose your fire ...
Why is she back? Did someone buy the poor bright thang a used computer so she can plagiarize 90 percent of anything she writes?
Beware, ShadowAce.
Love your #184 post, Laz!
I still have no respect for your puffed up, arrogant, condescending opinion. Griffin is no guru, but I certainly respect what he has said more than anything you’ve written. You sound jealous that he has recognition by some ... or is that your job, to throw water on the theories that the fed is a corrupt oligarchical cabal?
Thanks for the info, TOL. I usually load up on C at the earliest hint and rarely get sick or a cold. “C” is amazing. I was late this time and was a little run down from a difficult work schedule.
Good to see you back Askel5! Great thread. Lots of good posts/advice
Me too! They have a better retirement plan...
I note that you are on the Nut-Job Conspiracy Ping list...
...although it is perhaps worth mentioning that you were grandfathered in from the original thread and didn’t actually threaten me to get on it.
Underscore Jim! How the hell have YOU been?
Good to see you ... =)
+1 Insightful
Good to see you too, Laz. Thanks for yanking my chain.
(in a good way ... little Gramsci humor there, yeah? =)
I miss those days too, no doubt. Maybe KC could connive us all into meeting Midway one day. Having done four years in Leavenworth, I know for a fact the bridge proudly proclaimed to all coming in from Missouri: Welcome to Midway, USA!
If you guys still hang out, give everyone my best.
PS — Um, did you know you have cycle spelled wrong?
=)
Noumenon ... (I just wanted to say your name =)
AND thank you for the Orwell.
ETL ... thank you too. I’ve taken some of your links in the past. Cheers.
Yes, and did you forget the copyright thing? Keep in touch and don’t go missing again.
Putin is probably snickering, and saying..... "They just thought they won the cold war."
Give me your best advice on where I should post red meat for you with the understanding that (1) Im not interested in elections; (2) I am always happy to back up with facts or at least a solid thesis whatever I post on the fly; and (3) I too am more interested in the spiritual and philosophical battle at the heart of all affairs concerning human hearts and conscience but dont wish to be relegated to the Religion forum as a result
I guess what I'm looking for is solutions to the Gramscian gradualism to liberalism, communism, and immorality we find ourselves in.
Whatever forum you think is appropriate, and whatever you can offer, would be the way to go. I guess we're brainstorming.
Curiously, I recall seeing someone mention that way back in 2001 or 2002. I don't remember if bmwcyle said it was a mistake or on purpose, but I do recall the original observer quite amused at how our eyes complete imperfect words.
Your observations and opinions would be highly valued.
Regards - Ward
Absolutely laughing his butt off...
If Russia were truly done with Communism and are now Capitalists, why would they still support Marxist dictatorships such as Venezuela, Cuba, other far left regimes throughout Latin America, the ChiComs and North Korea? Their criticisms of Obama being a Socialist are bogus. If they really are now opposed to Socialism/Communism they would join us (pre-Obama) in condemning these regimes, not help build them up.

Did Communism Fake Its Own Death in 1991?
American Thinker ^ | January 16, 2010 | Jason McNew
In a [] 1984 book [New Lies for Old], ex-KGB Major Anatoliy Golitsyn predicted the liberalization of the Soviet Bloc and claimed that it would be a strategic deception. ..."
"Golitsyn's argument was that beginning in about 1960, the Soviet Union embarked on a strategy of massive long-range strategic deception which would span several decades and result in the destruction of Western capitalism and the erection of a communist world government."
"Golitsyn published his second book, The Perestroika Deception, after the Soviet Union was dissolved in 1991. This book contained further analysis of the liberalization, in addition to previously classified memoranda submitted by Golitsyn to the CIA. The two books must be read together to get a complete picture of Golitsyn's thesis."

"the greatest geopolitical catastrophe of the [20th] century" -Russian leader Vladimir Putin on the collapse of the Soviet Union...
"World democratic opinion has yet to realize the alarming implications of President Vladimir Putin's State of the Union speech on April 25, 2005, in which he said that the collapse of the Soviet Union represented the 'greatest geopolitical catastrophe of the century.'
