Followings God’s instructions Gideon fooled the Midian army into thinking they were a much larger in numbers than they were.
Was this wrong?
(19-22) God strikes the army of Midian with a surprise attack.
So Gideon and the hundred men who were with him came to the outpost of the camp at the beginning of the middle watch, just as they had posted the watch; and they blew the trumpets and broke the pitchers that were in their hands. Then the three companies blew the trumpets and broke the pitchers; they held the torches in their left hands and the trumpets in their right hands for blowing; and they cried, “The sword of the Lord and of Gideon!” And every man stood in his place all around the camp; and the whole army ran and cried out and fled. When the three hundred blew the trumpets, the Lord set every man’s sword against his companion throughout the whole camp; and the army fled to Beth Acacia, toward Zererah, as far as the border of Abel Meholah, by Tabbath.

Yes, I believe the antichrist will be a muslim.
The election of obama (with everything we knew about him even back then) shows how easily the antichrist will fool many and will quickly rise to power.

Yes muslims lie like rugs. You cannot do business with them let alone trust them to be a safe, productive member of society. Nuff said.

Who is the anti-Christ? The word means instead of Christ. How many ‘believers/followers/worshipers is a Jesus want-a-be going to have if he is treating people like he is a terrorist. Big hint, read what the devil offered when he tried to tempt Christ, to get Christ, in a hungry flesh body to do. Then consider the chapter of Ephesians 6. The ‘war’ is not of flesh and blood.

I don’t think the antichrist will be a muslim, but he will definitely be a liar.
He will probably be european - someone from the EU.
The word Antichrist is mentioned specifically only in the following scriptures of the Bible.
“Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time” (1 John 2:18).
“Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son” (1 John 2:22).
“And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that [spirit] of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world” (1 John 4:3).
“For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist” (2 John 1:7).
The future world leader who will be Antichrist is called by other names in Bible prophecy. He is called The little horn (Dan. 7: 8,) king of fierce countenance (Dan 8: 23,) the prince that shall come (Dan 9: 26,) the king (Dan 11: 36,) man of sin (2 Thes. 2: 3,) son of perdition (2 Thes 2: 3,) the beast (Rev. 13: 1-4, 12, 14-15, 17, chp. 19: 19-20, six hundred threescore and six (Rev. 13: 18,).

Chi xi stigma : six hundred and sixty six, 666.
For those who have not swallowed the lie and can still think for themselves need no words of explanation to figure out what this means.....
And this is what God has to say about it....
2 Thessalonians 2:11:
And for this cause God shall send them a strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:
Revelation 13:16:
And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads:

I do believe what your asking is self explanatory, the father of liars will be the one who will influence the anti-Christ... the anti-Christ is just that,, anti-truth.

Here is a list of the Biblical characteristics of the Antichrist. Many think that he will be Muslim; however the Bible tells us that he will come from the people who destroyed Jerusalem in 70AD, which, as we know, was the Roman Empire. This is not to say that he can't be both (both Muslim and come from the people who destroyed Jerusalem), but keep in mind that after the Psalm 83 and Ezekiel 38/39 wars, Islam is going to be so decimated that being a Muslim just isn't going to have the same, um,
relevance that it has now.
Here are 27 Biblical characteristics of the Antichrist:
- He comes from among ten kings in the restored Roman Empire; his authority will have similarities to the ancient Babylonians, Persians, and Greeks [Daniel 7:24; Rev 13:2 / Daniel 7:7]
- He will subdue three kings [Daniel 7:8, 24]
- He is different from the other kings [Daniel 7:24]
- He will rise from obscurity
a little horn [Daniel 7:8]
- He will speak boastfully [Daniel 7:8; Rev 13:5]
- He will blaspheme God, [Daniel 7:25; 11:36; Rev 13:5] slandering His Name, dwelling place, and departed Christians and Old Testament saints [Rev 13:6]
- He will oppress the Tribulation saints and be successful for 3 ½ years [Daniel 7:25; Rev 13:7]
- He will try to change the calendar, perhaps to define a new era, related to himself [Daniel 7:25]
- He will try to change the laws, perhaps to gain an advantage for his new kingdom and era [Dan 7:25]
- He will not be succeeded by another earthly ruler, but by Christ [Daniel 7:26-27]
- He will confirm a covenant with many, i.e. the Jewish people [Daniel 9:27] This covenant will likely involve the establishment of a Jewish Temple in Jerusalem [see Dan 9:27; Matt 24:15]
- He will put an end to Jewish sacrifice and offerings after 3 ½ years and will set up an abomination to God in the Temple [Daniel 9:27, Matthew 24:15]
- He will not answer to a higher earthly authority; He will do as he pleases[Daniel 11:36]
- He will show no regard for the religion of his ancestors [Daniel 11:37]
- He will not believe in any god at all [except for himself] [Daniel 11:37]
- He will have no regard for the desire of women: He will either be asexual or homosexual [Dan 11:37]
- He will claim to be greater than any god [Daniel 11:37; 2 Thess 2:4]
- He will claim to be God [2 Thessalonians 2:4]
- He will only honor a god of the military. His whole focus and attention will be on his military. He will conquer lands and distribute them [Daniel 11:39-44]
- His arrival on the world scene will be accompanied by miracles, signs and wonders [2 Thess 2:9]
- Either he, or his companion [The False Prophet], will claim to be Christ [Matt 24:21-28]
- He will claim that Jesus did not come in the flesh, or that Jesus did not rise bodily from the grave [2 John 7]. He will deny that Jesus is the Messiah [I John 2:22]
- He will be worshipped by many people [Rev. 13:8]
- He will hate a nation that initially will have some control over his kingdom, but he will destroy this nation [Rev 17:16-18]
- He will appear to survive a fatal injury [Rev. 13:3; 17:8]
- His name will be related to the number six hundred and sixty sixbut not necessarily in an obvious fashion [Rev 13:17-18].
- He will be empowered by the devil himself [Rev. 13:2]
I personally believe that the man who will become the Antichrist is alive today and I believe that he is probably in some obscure political position in Europe somewhere. He will come out of nowhere, with no political or personal baggage, and he will have the forceful, charismatic, magnetic personality that will draw the world to him.
I also believe that it is possible, but not certain, that the Islamic nations will perceive him to be their 12th Imam.

I would not imagine that the Muzzies would ever produce the Son of Perdition (a/k/a "The AntiChrist"). The reason I say that is because even though you have the apocalyptic "12th imam" from the Shi'a, I can't ever picture the Sunnis going along. Likewise, if the Sunnis produced a worldwide Caliph, that person would be denounced as an apostate by the Shi'a imams. Contrary to the taqiyya they like pushing on us Westerners, the two sects hate each other virtually as much as they hate us.
I personally think it will be more of a Rick Warren type of person (not that I'm accusing Warren himself of this) who tries to create a "Chrislam".
You might be interested in reading an old book from Robert Hugh Benson, called Lord of the World. It was written back in 1907 and, although some of the technology he talks about didn't exactly work out that way, it describes the world we live in remarkably accurately. You can get a free epub of it from Project Gutenberg.

Doesn’t matter what “religion” the anti-Christ will claim. Being a minion of the Evil One, he will not need an excuse to lie. What will be really tough is that while he may snow a LOT of folks, there will be many who see through the whole deal and who will be impotent to do anything about it - it will be even worse on the already saved folks than watching what an Obama admin is doing is currently on Conservative Christians.

I have long thought that Islam fills the bill as the Antichrist of lore. It is not a single man, not even Mohammed. It is Mohammed’s creation, Islam.
