Here is from the fhu.com and what the Be Still really is, not what you think it is...
How It Works
Unlike Eastern meditations that mask reality with mindless mantras, or hypnosis that provides a temporary feeling of well-being, “Be Still and Know” shows you how to sharpen your awareness by calmly dealing with the pressures of life. In “Be Still and Know” Roy Masters shows you how to meet stress head-on without having to escape into mindless distractions or positive-thinking “feel-good” routines.
By practicing “Be Still and Know” for 2O MIN TWICE A DAY, you’ll discover how to effortlessly escape from anxiety, fear and stress by overcoming the angers and trauma that can become the root of many debilitating conditions such as Addiction, ADD/ADHD, Bi-polar Disorder, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, Depression, and PTSD
Who Can Benefit
Many people, including successful professionals, have discovered the key to improving careers, family relationships and health. By understanding how to recognize and eliminate the negative emotions that result in stress and self-defeating behaviors, we can eliminate what prevents us from reaching our full potential and finding happiness.
biblical eh?
From his ‘satan principle’ -
“When you read a passage in the Scripture. . .don’t stuff it in your ears. Don’t let psychopathic teachers pressure-instruct it into your mind. For Christ’s sake, don’t let people “Jesus Christ” you to death. Don’t let those wicked fiends lay that kind of trip on you”
No wonder he doesn’t make real reference to the bible - yet you claim it is biblical.
Of course he rewrites portions of the bible to suit his purposes. He will have his place in hell with his demons.
Once again let me ask you...what does this have to do with the doctrines of Christianity? Does Masters also insist atheists can benefit from his "Be still" exercise or must they first convert to his version of Christianity for it to help them?
Why can't you seem to see that Roy Masters is not a theologian, he has NO formal training nor study of the faith or the Scriptures? He has devised his own worldview along with his own version of the Christian faith and seeks to recruit everyone he can to join his new religion. You can't call it "Christian" if it doesn't follow the tenets of what makes a Christian, sorry, you just can't. One last question, does Roy believe anyone has been saved before he came along? And if he does, then his version must not be the truth. If he doesn't, then what kind of a God do you believe in that would allow so many millions to perish and who still are if they are unaware of Mastersism?
