1 John 2:22-23 22 Who is the liar but he who denies that Jesus is the Christ? This is the antichrist, he who denies the Father and the Son. 23 No one who denies the Son has the Father. Whoever confesses the Son has the Father also.
That settles the issue right there.
Jesus was pretty clear Himself about His relationship with God. This guy, Masters, is deceived and a deceiver. He is an antichrist.
Feely good stuff doesn't get you salvation. Repentance and confession and the new birth do.
When you cannot understand the Trinity; you get all KINDS of cultish things popping up; like MORMONism, for instance:
The Father is GOD...
The Son is GOD...
and the Holy Spirit is GOD...Just not ONE god.
They are 3 separate GODs, working together.
Jesus Christ is God’s Son, spiritually and physically.
He calls Him Father, He prays to Him.
We are to pray to Him, God the Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, His Son.
God’s voice was heard at Christ’s baptism, coming from Heaven while He was in the water. The Holy Sirit also descended. Three seperate entities/Gods.
