They do price gauging in very weird ways. My mother has no Rx insurance and *very* rarely needs any medications. Its cheaper for her to buy at full price than hassle with Rx insurance. This time she needed some eye drops. Walmart quote was $88.21 for the medicine-- we went to Collier's Drug -- EXACTLY the same prescription (no generic), SAME dosage, SAME manufacturer, $53.00.

I haven't stepped into a Walmart in a long, long time. I think their sparkle is diminishing.
