That is what I told the lady that hired me.

She said "what are you looking for from this job?"

I answered, "A mortgage payment."

Don't know if that was what she was looking for but she contracted me. I just had gotten so tired of playing the interview game. I think I will just try blunt honesty for a while.

It can't hurt. Of course the fact that we had worked at the same company in the past didn't hurt either.

My career strategy involved having Hard-to-fill jobs (translation: jobs that any sane person ran screaming from). It worked in that I wasn’t unemployed for the last 33 years of working life.
