Thanks! Just got back, and without incident this time, unlike last week when a slow-moving commercial truck veered suddenly into my lane without signaling, as I was zipping along at 75 mph (120 kph) over Yokohama Bay Bridge. Came to within two car lengths of a serious world of hurt on that one.

I’m sure everything is saved somewhere, but right now I have a weird screen that’s not at all like it used to be, and we’re still having processing problems. We’re trying to order a ThinkGeek gift certificate for Tom’s geek friend Forrest (”of Forestry”) who will celebrate his 18th birthday tomorrow, but the site kept going nonresponsive instead of letting us pay.

Tom’s trying to pull it up on the other computer. Bill is protesting the injustice of his existence by assuming the dead pharoah position in his bed and refusing to move.
