Man Nearly Died by Shipping Himself to Girlfriend (As a Romantic Gesture)

A man from Chongqing in Southern China nearly suffocated to death after a romantic gesture to his girlfriend went wrong.

Mr Hu Seng had asked his friend to tape him into a box so he could ship himself via a courier service to his girlfriend, Li Wang.

However, the romantic gesture turned into a life-threatening event for Mr Hu when the courier company mixed up the address with another delivery.

The 30-minute wait turned into a three-hour ordeal for Mr Hu.

The material of the box was reportedly too thick for him to make any breathing holes while inside and he did not want to spoil the surprise by calling for attention.

When the box arrived at Li Wang's place, his friend was poised to record the event.

However, they found Mr Hu unconscious and looking pale upon opening the package.

Subsequently, paramedics were called over to her apartment to revive him.

He admitted, "I didn't realise it would take so long."

The courier company said they would not have accepted this delivery if they had known there was a person inside.

The spokesperson said that even for animals, a special container would be used so they can breathe properly.

You’d have to ask my mother about that, but she’s not talking to me, these days! ;o]

How was your circulation before you became a short person?

I wanna know how she made herself a long person. It would cut down on my use of ladders and stepstools.

You’d have to ask my parents about that, since they were in charge of engineering...

On the culinary scale, my branch of the family is tone-deaf concerning protein. Veggies and desserts—no problem. When you have the time to give cooking lessons, please send up a flare!

You had a four-year-old who ate onion rings? Wow—the prevailing sentiment among ours was that onions are bad luck.

They should change the selection process so that you can indicate what sort of trial wouldn’t be problematic for the individual juror. It would save a lot of time.

Perhaps. OTOH part of the selection process is juror education.

The BEST book about cooking and eating the right things in the right proportions for the body, especially for diabetics, hypoglycemics, and obese people is the “Dr. Atkins’ New Diet Revolution” book.

Because it follows so closely the diet that is recommended for hypoglycemics, it should also be recommended for diabetics. The carbohydrate diet that “someone” said was best for diabetics is probably the worst lie that was ever invented for the human body, since carbs are converted to sugar.

Every person I have ever talked to who has been on the Atkins’ diet has lost weight and been able to maintain it, as long as they stay on the diet. Ironically, if they get off, they quickly gain weight again and can become diabetic.

Go to Amazon.com and look for a copy.

Don’t just buy the food and follow the recipes. Read the entire book and set up a plan for a life of feeling better.

Honest, was awake Darksheare. Did fall out for nearly two days, but honest, was awake. Sorry I am though, have a nap overtaking me. Just kidding, actually must get more done. It is fun being able to run things around the house, like the oven, stove, dishwasher, vacuum, lawnmowers, hedge trimmer, washing machine, broom, dust mop, protection for the family, myself ragged, and that is slow day. Should have been a drop of rain. Could have flown high numerous times ... up and down ... up and down.

I had a wav file once that said, “My parents were circus people!”
It played any time I got an IM on the instant messenger ICQ.
