I saw a program a few weeks ago, that they have a dig going in Turkey that they figure is way over 14 thousand years old.
They have no idea at all who and what.

WESTRAY HERITAGE
Over 400 carved stone balls have been discovered throughout Scotland. Those illustrated below came from Skara Brae and are estimated to be some 4,000 years old:
