Its one of the beautiful things about our constitution. You can amend but never erase.

Well,actually you *can* erase.Prohibition was "erased".But alright,I'll accept your premise about erasure.But editing can't be bad.Geeze,to read some of my posts folks might think I'm semi-literate but while I'm no rocket scientist I *do* have a pretty fair command of written English! ;-)

Amending is not necessary either.

Maybe it’s just me but I find it very annoying when folks post an obvious typo and 20 posts later make another post just to correct that typo. Typos are fine. If you make a mistake, just move on.
