Is anyone watching the Closing Ceremonies? So far, I've seen a quite eclectic selection.
I think so far, the highlight has been when Eric Idle, one of the Pythons, came out and sang "Always Look On The Bright Side Of Life".
I will say this, though....now that the Games are over, I am breathing a sigh of relief. At the beginning of the Games, I was dead solid sure that Something Extraordinarily Bad was going to happen, and I was sure that muzzies were going to be behind it. I cannot be happier to be proven wrong.

Okay, I’ll admit...the George Michael/Russell Brand parts of the show, better known as “Fruitcakes on Parade” made me throw up a little in my mouth.
Not likely. But I’m surprised they didn’t run the Marathon.
Yes. I didn’t watch a single competition. Maybe I’ll get to see Gabby’s gymnastics performance. Other than that, I expect to be as underwhelmed by the closing ceremonies as I was disappointed by the opening. I hope not.
Wifey and I will probably snooze thru it later anyway. It is a reflection of some pretty diverse cultures and the miscreants a society like Britain’s produces these days.
On to Rio!!
I think all-in-all London did a good job. Of course there were minor hitches here and there, but that’s to be expected anywhere.
Rio has big shoes to fill.

I will say this, The Spice Girls....kinda hotter looking than I expected.

May or may not have gotten a little teary eyed during the “Fab 5” gymnastics montage. Adorable kids, all of them.
HAH! That’s great. Awesome kids.
The overriding theme seems to be that the UK makes trucks that you can fit a 80s band on.
