From all the people in the media whining about it and trying to inject doubt into romney's camp by saying it is a bad decision they just laid their cards on the table. They are now more afraid than ever that romney will win.

In 54 years I have never seen a more biased news media willing to cover for an acting official and actively participate in the campaign to mold public or citizen perception. I was talking to my Mom who's one of those msnbc watching libs unfortunately, and I said the Ryan pick was good (for us) because it does help define the race in terms of a clear choice between the left and the right, and the country wants to go conservative. Also, this is great for Mitt in particular because he was coming off us Mr Mush, as an ideological Enoch. So Ryan seems to remedy Mitt's defining problem: that he appeared to be running from the issues, as on Chick Fil A. My Mom, as a lib, seemed disturbed that perhaps my analysis was correct.
