They didnt think that Romney would pick Paul Ryan, they thought he would pick Pawlenty or Portman..with Paul Ryan as VP we actually have a chance now and the liberal loons are scared to death
I was talking to my Mom who's one of those msnbc watching libs unfortunately, and I said the Ryan pick was good (for us) because it does help define the race in terms of a clear choice between the left and the right, and the country wants to go conservative. Also, this is great for Mitt in particular because he was coming off us Mr Mush, as an ideological Enoch. So Ryan seems to remedy Mitt's defining problem: that he appeared to be running from the issues, as on Chick Fil A. My Mom, as a lib, seemed disturbed that perhaps my analysis was correct.
