Curiosity! Awesome!
It looked like a giant lan party raiding world of warcraft dungeons and they finally took down the boss mob and won a +9 helm of puberty

This afternoon I participated in a presentation on the RMS Titanic at the Cocoa Beach Library. Tonight watching pictures from Mars. From the Abyss to Barsoom in 12 hours. My God, what an age we live in!

It’s “Curiosity” not “Odyssey”! (Odyssey is the orbiter transmitting data back to earth.)

What a great day for the US. I'll have to say it was a nail-biter but it seems that it clicked through every checkpoint without a single hitch.
I can't wait for the hi-resolution stuff to start coming back.

Great job on the landing!!!
I feel badly for these JPL guys who are feeling rudderless these days (due to Obama cuts to projects in the pipeline).

We were watching the live feed of the Control Room as the craft was descending. They just erupted when the Flight Director said “Touchdown!” That was the culmination of many years of hard work, and thousands of things had to go just right for things to turn out so well. I’m proud of NASA!

This is one heckuva engineering achievement. Congratulations to all at JPL and all who worked on the program.

In another pandering move, Obama currys favor with the LGBT community by insisting the lander be called “Bi-Curiosity.”
