Good luck with that. If they get a Scottish play by play announcer they are also going to need an interpreter...

Yes. It works well.

I have used vpn services to access both American and British regional controlled content.

For those who love the olympics for the sport, and not fabricated soap opera drama, the BBC is the way to go.

Though, I thought NBC also has a good online streaming service?

You don’t even need to use vpn services. Plenty of direct weblinks showing the BBC. I am currently watching the velodrome cycling on the BBC on a simple weblink.

Cheers.

U.S. Olympic broadcasts have been atrocious for so long I cannot remember a time that I enjoyed one.

if you go to NBC’s olympic website you can watch every event streaming on line- both live and replay,....presently i have cycling on the computer and its terrific....i watched both the mens and womens gymnastics individual titles and you can also find stuff you get only a taste of on NBC (full match of judo gold medalist Kyla Harrison w/the medal ceremony)....some events no announcers, others British announcers..

There's an “app” on my television for the Olympics. We use AT&T U-Verse Fiber Optic Cable. I can watch any event I want in real time or from the past. We haven't tuned into NBC one time. I can also keep up with specific athletes and the medal count per nation.

Speaking of Olympic coverage, what ever happened to knowing exactly which countries have judges and how the individual judges score events?

I remember the days when finding the bias judge was part of the fun.
