How the mighty have fallen....just saying
There seems to be no respite for the investors of Facebook Inc (NASDAQ:FB). The networking giant stock was down by more than 3% in early trading session to $21.01 today, continuing with a 6 percent fall to $21.71 yesterday. This all happened just in four trading sessions, following the announcement of the first earnings report by new public company.
Counting todays fall, the social-networking giant, shares are now almost 45% below the $38 a share IPO price of May 18. However. we have noted previously, that most buy orders went in at $45 a share. Therefore the stock is down closer to 53%, in only 10 weeks of trading!
The shares are expected to fall further in coming days, to be precise on Aug. 16. On this date the IPO will complete 91 days allowing insiders, such as company officers, directors and employees, to sell 268 million shares of stock. Then again between 91 and 181 days, insiders will be able to sell an additional 137 million shares. Given its current performance, the coming days wont be easy for the giant.

It’s Karma for the monstrosity known as Timeline.
I concur, timeline sucks. I’m thinking of permanently deleting my account. It’s such a waste of time...yet I still log on.
Facebook is now forcing the timeline format on users, such as myself, that do not want it. Facebook continually tries to fix what ain’t broke.

It’s interesting considering how it started and where it is today.
How are they forcing it on people ? I still don’t have it .
Still got a ways to go to be a reasonable value. When the financials were uncovered, a lot on the street said the stock should be in the $12 range. I don’t think that’s that far off. Especially when insiders get their opportunity to dump their shares.
I'm nor Facebook user, myself. After looking at the promotion and samples, I can say that if I were more paranoid than I am, I'd say this was a sugarcoated way to induce people to self-document their own dossiers.
that’s hardly a crater...when it’s a penny stock we’ll know people have wised-up and are paying what it’s worth
It's not just financials. Facebook runs on advertising and became big on targeted advertising to the sheeple in the facebook universe. As more facebook users access via mobile devices the advertising is less effective due to small screen size. Thus facebook is less acceptable to advertisers and they will pay less to advertise
Mobile internet devices (iphones etc) are killing its business model.

My girl is an avid Facebook user, and I set up two Facebook
accounts for myself, thinking that some of my numerous international Internet contacts might be looking for me, but I found it to be nothing but a hodgepodge of many manes from all over the world adding me, NONE of which I could identify.
I still have the accounts but go to them only once every few weeks to see if anyone pops up.
It would not bother me if Facebook dried up and blew away.
Hehe...I know Guia is an “ avid “ user . I’m always hitting the LIKE button on her photos , especially those of little Alex . Cut video yesterday . Anyway , I haven’t been forced to change to TIMELINE yet , so I was wondering how FB is forcing people . Nobody can ADD you as a friend unless you accept their friend request so I don’t understand why you have so many unidentifiable friends .
Your not paranoid, that is their business. Collecting and selling your personal information.
Do a little research on what they are planning with facial recognition...

Sushi, you know I am too daft to understand these things, haha.
I just get these request to add, but I do not do it.
I must have a few friends on there, as I get emails that so in so has added new pics, or something.
I did not know you were in Guia’s list, but happy that you get to see the pics of little Alex. He is becoming a real pistol, running up and down the beach.
I make my bi-annual exit trip in Dec. or Jan.
Maybe I should come visit you :).
