Have a beautiful Sunday, Meg.
As a 12-year-old, I was curious about the Bible my dad was given when he retired from the paper mill. It came in a special cedar box marked The Holy Bible, and I assumed that holy meant it was off-limits to me. But still I peered inside. In the center of the Bible was a picture of Jesus hanging on the cross, along with the words of John 3:16. There was also a see-through red film covering the page, which I assumed meant He bled and died.
Occasionally, when no one else was looking, I would gently pull the holy Book off the shelf, open the box, look at the picture of Jesus on the cross, read the verse, and wonder about this Man and why He died. I wondered if His love was meant for me or if it too was off-limits.
Several years later I heard a message about how God had provided access to His love through Jesus. Romans 5:1-2 tells us: We have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom also we have access by faith into this grace in which we stand. I believed and received Jesus salvation from my sin.
Arent you thankful that the Bible and Gods love arent off-limits? Receive His forgivenessits meant for unholy people like you and me.
Read: Romans 5:1-8
BEAUTIFUL Graphic, Yorkie...and a lovely Message too!
(((HUGS)))
Wet and Wild Today.
Thank you, M-L!
Prayers continue for your safety through this impending storm, and also for your friend Steve and his precious daughter.
Stay safe my friend!
Hope you're doing something exciting! :)
A bounty of blessings to you!
Thank You for your prayers!
There are already trees down in our complex. I REALLY hope nothing falls on my motorcycle!
Couldn’t have my usual 3 mile walk with Linda this morning due to Hurricane Isaac. I feel FAT AND DUMPY without my walk!!!!
I feel safe in my little apartment, but I wonder what my HOUSE is experiencing...I am afraid to check on it.
Closing NEXT WEEK...this was delayed for an interminable period (thus exposing it to the storm) because SIX YEARS AGO someone did not remove a mortgage from the title even though it was paid in full. My beloved realtor was able to track it down and actually locate a copy of the cancelled check from 6 years ago to PROVE that the loan was satisfied.
So, because some well paid person DID NOT DO THEIR JOB more than half a decade ago, I have been caused a great deal of anxiety, which will not be resolved until the house is out of my hands. (sigh)
This stress involving my financial future has made me somewhat crabby in the last few weeks. :-)

Very cute! Thanks for the smile! :)
Glitches in real estate are a real pain. I used to deal with Agents, Title Co., Mortage Co., banks, etc. Some extreme headaches come when some have not done their expected job. Utter nightmares!
I was totally surprised at the end. (Thought perhaps he would hear our National Anthem). But, I wasn't disappointed! :)
And wonderful music on this beautiful Sunday!
Thank you!
