I vote yes, everyone should be able to carry. You beat me to it. The only real effect of gun control is that it gives criminals the peace of mind of knowing that their victims will not be able to shoot back.
No one ever goes on a shooting rampage at a gun store, a gun show or a shooting range. These psychos always pick locations where they know that everyone else is likely to be unarmed.

If you read the article, it is clear that they ‘yes’ in the polls is for stricter gun control.
That said, I agree with you, everyone who is a non-Criminal citizen should be allowed to carry.
