I think Miss Guy made the right decision. I do not know how marketable an American Studies degree is from Cornell is. But with this crown she has enhanced her resume to find a rich husband.

I admit I only skimmed the letter, but it appears she is an officer in her Sorority, which explains why she felt the need to explain leaving.

I say good luck to her. She can return to school and get that ridiculous degree later.
