They may be right. In 2008, Barack Obama became the first black president. After supporting single-sex marriages, he was called "the first gay president". Now he has all chances to be labeled "the first communist president". And this really means that he is the person to change the course of America – the way Lenin changed the course of Russia about a century ago.

A late comer to this conclusion. However I doubt that this obversation from the former (and future?) USSR will be believed by most in this country, especially dimocrats and lib(socialist)erals.

The movie “Invasion of the Body Snatchers” is a thinly-veiled warning to 1950’s Americans about how communism will take over this nation.
We are now to the point where our colleges are run by communists. Media is run by communists. Our unions are run by communists. Half of all Americans pay no taxes and depend on the government for subsistence, so they are essentially communist. Big business uses government to create an economy that favors them over competitors, especially small business, so they are fascists, at best.
The small core of free market individualists wake up every morning to find that another group of people have succombed to the siren call of communism.
Now, in 2014, most of us will have our employer health care plans taken away and that part of our compensation will go into paying fines and giving the CEO’s big bonuses for “saving money”. We will become communists when we have to go to the government, hat in hand, and ask for our gummint healthcare subsidy because the insurance companies will charge too much for us to pay, and the pharmaceuticals and every medical special interest will lobby to get their issue added on to our gummint-mandated insurance, jacking up the price to a point where no working person can afford their “free” healthcare.
In the end, the communists will assimilate most of us without firing a shot. When they get down to the last few holdouts, they will assimilate them through violence and no one will care because the holdouts are “counter-revolutionaries”.

I don't know if Boris Volkhonsky is really opposed to Lenin. He is very opposed to the US.

Whether or not "Obama hates America," Boris Volkonsky hates Obama not because Volkhonsky loves America, but because he hates American power and how we use it in the world and he sees Obama as a symbol of US power.
As counterproductive and dangerous as the bulk of Obama’s policies are, it is the height of hysteria to compare him to a real bloody-handed commie like “Red Terror” Lenin. Western European social democracy, harmful as it is, bears little resemblance to lurid Soviet-style totalitarianism.
