They need to be harvested and sold to Japan.

Let the Japanese harvest their own whales. While it is legal they should do the work if they want the whales.

There is no reason to hunt for whales. Not for food, oil, or any other reason. But if it is still legal to do so, pirates should NOT be boarding their ships or harassing them on the open sea.

If the world does not like it....., then outlaw it.

If they don’t begin managing the whales on the West Coast soon they will be overpopulated to the point of starvation. You can’t have animals w/o predators to grow until they starve each other out.

If you don’t like eating them perhaps turning them into fertilizer and growing some nice vegies? Perhaps you have been brainwashed into believing whales are something they are not and you want to hug them?
