I just wanted those kids to think this was the loudest f_cking thing they ever heard. sorry, but he was quickly beat by Ted Nugent in the same year - the loudest f_cking thing I ever heard!

In over 50 years of buying records, tapes, 4-tracks, 8-tracks,
cassettes, CDs & DVDs, zero, zip, none have been bought for the cover art.
Every one of them was purchased for content, regardless of the cover art. On the flip side, lousy art never kept me from buying, either.
Same for books & magazines.
The artwork may have caught my eye, inducing me to pick it up for a closer look, but if the content wasn’t what I was interested in, it went back onto the shelf.
Bottom line, the album or CD is for listening pleasure, not hanging on the wall; they go in a proper rack/cabinet/shelf where only the title on the spine (or equivalent) is seen.

Does everyone still have their copy of "The Shaggs"?
Their rendition of "Foot Foot" was never equaled

Jimi Hendrix Experience: "Electric Ladyland" (import)
The British album cover of Electric Ladyland - already owned the US version, but the import had about 30 topless English girls on the cover.
(Don't have it anymore - gave it away when I got married).

Carly Simon’s “No Secrets” LP. Even though she had the mouth that ate Cincinnati, she was pretty sexy then.

I do remember, as I do remember the original Blind Faith cover (post #7, deleted), as well as Mom’s Apple Pie cover, which I won’t ever bother posting.

My older sister bought that album.
A life changing experience. And the music was good.
