Simmons has always struck me as the brains of the outfit but maybe that’s because I see him on TV more.

Along with that, I don't think Gene feels his "celebrity" gives him that either. I think Gene uses his celebrity more to benefit the troops, and because of that attracts the media attention, who then ask him his views, which he then gives.

Unlike other celebrities who feel they must "share" their "wisdom" with the masses at the drop of a hate (or their panties).

(On a side note. I think its ironic how Paul Stanley, KISS' front man, is always out of the media. Meanwhile the bassist, is the off stage front man. Usually bassists are the least known of band members.)

Paul, I think, is all about KISS. Simmons is a different animal, so when he speaks I hear a businessman not the kooky blood spitter on stage in makeup.

Simmons of course got his fame via KISS, but today his persona is much more. I pray for his soul....he is very smart but lost.
