In the West, Best Foods mayonaisse, in the East Helman’s Mayonaisse. Both the same product but have to use different names for some reason on either side of the country.

Love it like no other. Can eat it off a spoon.

The rest of the sandwich, I leave to others. But it isn’t bad with avocado instead of lettuce...;)

Our store has both right next to each other. Pick your label.

My nickname is “mayonnaise mom” and my husband, “mayonnaise dad.” I grew up on Miracle Whip. My sister had a screaming, rage, fit about how much mayo I ate. I gave it up in my teens because of the calories. My husband is a Best/Hellman’s man. I tend to buy what’s on sale. Couldn’t get the Miracle Whip out of the fridge fast enough. Yuck, yuck, yuck. I prefer homemade, but when we go through about a jar a week...just don’t have the time, plus the salmonella issue. My daughter has been on a BLT binge and protests that I don’t put enough mayo on her sandwiches. I just want a jar to last more than a week. LOL. I try to always have at least 6 jars on hand.

Just like Smuckers and Mary Ellen's (jam). Or, Edy's and Dryer's (ice cream).
