The history of Steve Schmidts lies and perpetual backstabbing of Governor Palin have been well documented here and elsewhere. In an article published today in the New York Times (Fashion & Style section), he continued his quest to scapegoat his own poor decision-making in 2008 (like telling McCain to suspend his campaign during the financial crisis), and his need for relevancy within political circles, albeit now only with those who reside on the left.
The writer who Schmidt sat down with to continue his lucrative charade, is a man by the name of Adam Nagourney. Nagourney was on the list of approved influential reporters Schmidts associates wanted to use in the wake of the outcome in 2008 to help him save his reputation, as revealed by the Schmidt memos, published by Politico last March. So, it makes sense that Schmidt felt comfortable using this particular reporter for this purpose.

Steve has one too many m’s in his name. He is a Dem plant.
Pray for America
A stinkin’ ‘RAT.
Hardly a surprise from Steve “homo-marriage” Schmidt. Mind-boggling when you realize this Fifth-Columnist liberal was actually in charge of the GOP presidential candidacy in ‘08. I’m more than convinced the whole upper echelon of the Republican Party is infested with people like him.
Sarah has an army supporting her and she is doing well. Next week will be her 3rd keynote speakership this year. She is a force and obomney better wake up to that fact.
Any candidate who wasn’t up to snuff to know that there wold be fifth columns/ quislings/traitors injected into the ranks of advisers loses points as to being a qualified POTUSA. I’ll give Palin some slack because she was obviously under the gun of McCain.
Agree....
Two losers that can’t go away fast enough.
He was less subtle than his manservant, McBackstabber. Meggins can clue you in on who daddy is when away from the camera. He hates Republicans openly, until election year, then he becomes a conservative.
McCain has been screwing over the GOP for the benefit of Washington’s limo liberals forever. Who could be surprised that he would put this guy in charge of his campaign?
McCain is terribly sympathic to Muslim radicals, too, while he has major influence on the GOP’s foreign policy. He’s screwing the US with the best of his Obama pinko pals.
He joined the radicals and went all hysterical about Bush’s “torture” of jihadists, but has not made a peep about Obama’s method of killing any American or foreigner he decides is a “terrorist” and he knows Obama has classified conservatives, by activist cause, domestic terrorists.
I think McCain was for Obama winning the election.
Dante’s Ninth Circle of Hell awaits Mr. Schmidt.
The Ninth, and lowest, Circle of Hell is reserved for the treacherous.

He [Mc Cain] is loved in Arizona. The voters keep electing him to the Senate.
LOL. Yeah, he was proven to be a dumb Schmidt.
This despicable jerk Steve Schmidt was a Demmunist/Commicrat plant to throw the election or I’ll eat my hat.
