Prayer Request for freepers MamaBear and JKPhoto’s son, Dave.

During a physical for an upcoming job in Angola, a mass was discovered in one of his kidneys.
His kidney and the tumor (which the urologist believes has an 80% chance of being malignant) will be removed sometime next week.

This has hit Dave and his family hard, as he has enjoyed perfect health for all of his 43 years.

Dave, registered as CA Libertarian, has been a long time FReeper but seldom posts.

Prayers are appreciated. In addition to Dave, MamaBear and JKPhoto, please remember his wife and three children in your prayers.

I've been thinking about you a lot and hoping you were coping alright with the power outage. Actually, I was hoping you were not among those affected. Glad it is back on. I feel so bad for those still coping with high temps and no power. I've heard that some people in VA and DC won't get power back until next weekend. :-(

Seems that a lot of the problems were caused by the onerous
EPA regulations on coal fired power plants. I know that two plants that we can see from our house have shut down one whole unit. Thousands of people have lost their jobs in the energy industry. So, there are not enough linemen to repair the storm damage. Bummer.
