Waiting to learn he was on PCP, or Angel Dust.

Way back when, it seemed every year like clockwork, we would hear of some naked guy running down the street with a sword or some such episode, and every time it was somebody whacked out on Angel Dust. I don’t know if LSD makes people do the same kind of thing, but I’ll be waiting to hear what trip this guy was on when he did this.

..."overheating" and running off five-story parking garages or running into surf and drowning... I'd call it "Acute Cocaine Intoxication" After all, Miami is "The City that Cocaine Built".

When I moved to Miami, it was 50% Redneck. Shortly after arriving, the U.S. Army was driving tanks down US1 to respond to Russian ICBMs installed in Cuba. (With autonomous firing control—at each site—by a USSR Officer!)

LSD will cause the nakedness but probably not the violence. When swords and/or face eating are involved, you’re in the realm of PCP or possibly meth.
