You’re doing it wrong.
Here in Carolina where we refer to our bbq grills as Carolina microwaves, we would not touch this frenchy sauce. Real men want manly things in their sauce!

Just sayin’.

Looks GREAT! Make sure to post it on the weekly FR cooking thread!

We're not doing anything this weekend after losing a beloved pet. Just too depressed. Things should be back to normal next weekend and I intend to fire up some Bad News! Thanks!

I remember that stuff. My Dad LOOOVED to grill with it!

We lived in Kemp Mill, in Silver Spring, MD outside of DC. Most of our neighbors were Orthodox Jews. My Dad would grill his ribs out on the patio. Our Orthodox neighbor came over one day and said to him, “Ray, you gotta quit doing that to me...”

My favorite in yrs. past was Texas Best. They sold out to a big Co. and stopped making it.
Understand the original creator bought the recipe back and is making it again.
Can be had online. I keep meaning to order some.

semi-sweet, tangy, no oil so you can layer it on. Yummy

I am a recent convert to East Carolina vinegar sauce. Tomato based sauce basically mask the taste of the meat. If you have tasteless meat, that is a good thing, I guess.
