Somebody help me make sense out of p 105 where it’s talking about the swabs taken from the gun and holster. Seems like it’s saying that there were 2 people’s DNA on the handle, the main one being George Zimmerman and the other person being somebody besides Trayvon. There wasn’t enough found on the trigger or slide to determine anything. And there was DNA from at least 3 people on the holster - the chief one being George Zimmerman, and Trayvon can’t be ruled out as one of the other 2.

Do people handle other people’s guns and/or holsters? The cops wouldn’t have handled that stuff without gloves or something to keep their own DNA/fingerprints off, would they? What does all this mean?

I read 105 the same way. Finding stray DNA isn’t all that unusual. The testing these days is pretty sensitive.
