A treasure trove of evidence was released today in the Zimmerman case. Please make special note of the embroidery on the back of Zimmerman's sweatshirt. Love it!

Actually, trying to think like Sheila Jackass Lee is really not something you would want to try. Such thinking has been known to drive normal people insane!

The no bruises goes the other way, too. I’m looking for some other mechanism for George’s facial injuries. That iced tea can looks kind of dinged-up.

You left out the elbow. Elbows from a superior position, or any position are deadly.

I read 105 the same way. Finding stray DNA isn’t all that unusual. The testing these days is pretty sensitive.

If Martin had been full of TLC.....he was full of THC (Tetrahydrocannabinol)
What on earth is TLC? And he was not full of THC, there were only trace amounts. THC is the component of marijuana and if he was stoned, it would have shown up in his blood work. Besides marijuana does not induce aggressive behavior (like alcohol does). It mellows you down and makes you hungry.

No they are not. Only if you are lying on concrete, because of possibility of head injuries on impact with a hard surface when hit. Elbows mostly cause lacerations because the impact is usually not direct (i.e. is lateral). But have you ever tried hitting something hard with your elbow? Unless trained it is vastly more painful then punching, adrenalized or not (In fact it causes momentary paralysis of the arm due to the presence of the ulnar nerve there). I train Muay-Thai as a general hobby and hence the knowledge. Martin most likely punched him.

Good point. The DNA test report doesn’t provide specific locations for all the samples. Some from the shirt had Z’s DNA. The hoodie had only Martin’s. Other possibility is he just charged him, I see that done by our local gang bangers a lot.

Martin just had one small bruise on the ring finger of his left hand, that’s what’s provoking my curiosity.

If the prosecutor insists on going to trial with a second-degree murder case against him, it will be a short jury verdict unless its a mistrial. No way will he be convicted. If a mistrial the DA will look long and hard at retrying the case.I'm just going by bits and pieces of various articles, but I believe in Florida the case can be dismissed immedately by the judge as not being a prima facie case (not enough evidence to even respond to), which is not same as a mistrial, and a retrial would not be an option.
Now changing to a reduced charge like negligent homicide - I don't know if that is an option at this point. If it is, and I was GZ, that is one that would concern me a lot.

There’s another piece of trivia that I found interesting. The PD wanted to do a download of Martin’s phone. They took a shot at it on scene, but failed. They then had the Sheriff’s office try without success because it was password protected. So, a contact was made with the phone company, which advised that with the account number and the PIN they could override the password. The PD then contacted Daddy Martin to get the PIN, and he told them he’d have to talk to his lawyer first. That raised an eyebrow here.

If I could pick a weapon. Elbows and knees. Punching only risks breaking your hand. Hands get broke all the time. That's why open hand punching works well because if you miss and hit the ground or concrete, ya aren't gonna break a knuckle. You can break bricks with your elbow. Elbows are a superior weapon. Elbows from the mount is deadly.
Now as for Martin. I doubt he was trained in their use. Nor are most ganstas. Look up kangraoo fighting and thats the typical routine. He probably used his fists. I don't think he used elbows, I just put that out there for consideration.
Now as for their use in general. Sure, throw a punch. Break it on top of someones head. I've been combat sports for years so I also have a opinion on the matter. I've use elbows for years, and I've never had a problem. But, everyone is different.

Ah, I agree with you. I wasn’t suggesting using punches from the mount, just that I doubt Martin would have thought of that and the first elbow he threw would surely have made him decide to throw punches instead. And I don’t think he was a ‘gangsta’ any more than Zimmerman was racist hater. Its our counter-reaction to the MSM’s massive overreaction.

Thanks for the link to the surveillance video.
I wonder whatever happened to the proposed Florida law that convenience stores should have two employees on duty at all times. I know at one time Orlando was studying such a proposal. The convenience store lobby opposes such a regulation.
At any rate, it sure must be nerve-wracking to work all night as the lone employee of a store. Especially when creepy hooded males walk in the door and you can't see faces or bulges in pockets.
You couldn't pay me enough to hold such a job, especially with the present bad economy and high unemployment rate among unstable yutes.

Excellent post! Nice shot by Mr. Zimmerman, almost center mass. I thought I read on another thread where it was determined the shot was from 1-18 inches and they called it intermediate(?) range.
If there is any justice, Mr. Zimmerman should be this countries next millionaire. (((ping)))
