I didn’t say she would run or win, though. Just consider it enough for one final round. She has enough money to make an acceptable final personal presentation. Lots of ego there.

Gimme a break. Hillary is too tired or hung over most days to show up for her regular day job. I've been watching Secretaries of State since Henry Kissinger's time, and Herselfness Clinton is more invisible than any I've seen.

When she does finally show up and say something newsworthy, it rarely has anything to do with statecraft. She usually manages to make some statement that is boilerplate leftist dogma, or spouts off some boneheaded thing that is nearly worthy of Joe Biden. Meanwhile, she puts herself in positions that compromise her professional dignity, and doesn't maintain tight enough security to keep it under wraps. Photos spread across the internet over the last three years, attest to that.

And don't even get me started on how she looks when she shows up for work. If you only needed one red flag to alert you to the fact that she doesn't give a damn about her job or the game any longer, that would be it.

And I'll reiterate. She has been asked repeatedly about her future political aspirations, and she has emphatically stated that she is done with politics. Every single time.

I, for one, will take her at her word.

I do not care if Hillary or anyone else runs. However, this is no longer the political class we once knew. I have no idea what she does with her time and I agree she has been either MIA or inept to the point of being dangerous. She seems to be a hard drinker, I agree. None of that has a thing to do with political viability on the left. She belongs to the Inner Party and has a cult following. Her spouting of memes is likely sufficient for her followers.

I live surrounded by statist nannies. Most are self-described crones, in the pagan sense, and proud of it. They, gay and straight alike, would adore one of their own being in the spotlight. The middle of the road squishes would respond to her celebrity. Bill is supposedly the most popular politician in the world.

I’m nearly 70. While my energy levels aren’t what they were even 10 years ago, I am more efficient than I was then. All H! has to do is show up, be primped and catered to, give a speech and go back and take a nap. As long as she’s not in a walker, she can do it. Give her a few hundred grand and six months and you will swear she has visited the Fountain of Youth. JFK reportedly managed the executive position by dint of injections of speed and steroids, along w/pain killers. It isn’t unheard of.

Don’t know if she will, but I still think Bill is shaping the battlefield for 2016 and she will be a part of whatever.
Seriously, what is their bench? Biden?????? Pelousi????! Young up and comers??? Maybe they exist or will be manufactured, just like zerO was, but I can’t think of one.

Hell, as a donk, she could have a stroke or other traumatic brain injury, lose an eye and all you would see would be total support for her in any position she wants and eye patches would become chic.

LOLOLOL!!!

Good point.

But you know, this whole Romney crapadoodle is setting the GOP up perfectly for another sideswipe. The focus has been so intently on ABO that it reminds of how it was in 07-08, remember the hysterical refrain, "My God, Anybody but Hillary!" ... well, we got our wish. And we'd allowed ourselves to be pursuaded into primarying a candidate based on the assumption he'd run against Hillary.

Romney, nominated out of sheer fear and desperation, defying any common sense, is losing big-time if he wins, but, because he stinks to so many conservatives and Republicans, also is creating the opportunity for some even more lethal form of Obama to pop up as Obama's replacement.

Romney should be outta there.
