Any Buffett Sailing song will do.
Greenland Whale Fisheries by the Weavers (or Bender)
Blow Ye Winds in the Morning, oh Blow Ye Winds Hi Ho.
Are You Ready Kids?
Who Lives in a Pineapple Under the Sea...Sponge Bob Square Pants!
That’s cool. I’ll forgive your bias!
Warning: potentially offensive lyrics (if you're the easily offended type)
I’m a UH-60 Blackhawk pilot. We hold Ride of the Valkyries sacred. It’s an air assault song. Never associated it with sailing...
If you want to distract from the quiet beauty and peace of sailing, might as well go all the way...
Are you kidding?

2. Sail on Sailor (Beach Boys)
3. Sailing (Rod Stewart)
4. Sailing (Christopher Cross)
5. Ride Captain Ride (Blues Image)
Seventy-three men sailed up
From the San Francisco Bay,
Rolled off of their ship
And here's what they had to say.
"We're callin' everyone to ride along
To another shore,
We can laugh our lives away
and be free once more."
But no one heard them callin',
No one came at all,
'Cause they were too busy watchin'
Those old raindrops fall.
As a storm was blowin'
Out on the peaceful sea,
Seventy-three men sailed off
To history.
Ride, captain ride
Upon your mystery ship,
Be amazed at the friends
You have here on your trip.
Ride captain ride
Upon your mystery ship,
On your way to a world
That others might have missed.
Tales of the Great Rum Runners, by Robert Hunter.
Kilgore: we come in low out of the rising sun and about a mile out we put on the music.
Lance: music?!
Kilgore: yah. I use Wagner. It scares the hell out of slopes...
There's some crossover, too - Buffett recorded a cover of Southern Cross. Might be better than the CSN original.
the Wreck Of The Edmund Fitzgerald is the best! I cry every time I hear it.
Ripples - Genesis
Right arm, right arm, right arm tx_eggman. I was just about to add this one to the list but you beat me to it. Loved playing and listening to this song. One of the all time great songs but not enough credit was ever given to it. Think I’ll go pick up one of my guitars and run through it again for old times sake.
Helping keep mankind warm for almost 65 years. Love burnin’ some dinosaurs carcasses.
:)
I’m surprised it took 74 posts before anyone mentioned The Last Farewell.
