If Romney, like McCain before him, goes down in flames - perhaps, just PERHAPS the GOP will figure it out that a Conservative is the one they need to put the effort into.

And then someday, from the ashes of what used to be the United States, may rise someone that "conservatives," having been responsible for helping to kick the destruction into high gear by removing themselves as any kind of electoral impediment to the destructor, will claim they can support in an attempt to rebuild what never had to be torn down.
