Does this mean I have a legitimate claim to South Carolina?

Tell me about Ohio.
Ping.
he US should return the land that the UN sits on to the Native Americans.
Some of us remember where that adage came from.
Ohio... I am 1/32 Mohawk....Give me all your land.
virtually every nation on earth has been determined by the effective use of force and the U.S. is no exception. The whole concept of “Indian Nations” within the U.S. borders is inane. All reservations, Indian nations, etc etc should be abolished, the people involved assimilated into society and join the 21st century. That having been said, the U.S. should get out of the U.N. and get the U.N. out of the U.S. !!!
Could you imagine Bloomberg watching all those cigarettes getting sold duty free?
Great minds think alike. You were posting as I was typing.
Kentucky’s mine!!!
The UN — lowest common denominator.
The UN — lowest common denominator.
My wife is either 1/32 or 1/64 Cherokee (all that plundering and pillaging, you know. Oh, ok, her greatgrandmother was Cherokee). Can she claim a slot machine?
In our Jewish side of the family, we have/had 2 lawyers and 2 paralegals. We belong to the “SUE TRIBE”. What can we put a claim on - Lower Manhattan, a good deli.
>>Does this mean I have a legitimate claim to South Carolina?
No, because SC needs to be one of the states that seceeds from the Blue State Socialist Republic.
On returning stolen land -
I think we should first reclaim some misappropriated property. I believe it lies in Manhattan, from 42nd Street to 48th Street and First Avenue to the East River.
.....and promptly deport those that “work” there.
Dear U.N. -
Thank you so much for your concern about our Native Americans. We are grateful for your humanitarian efforts to right past wrongs and to bring justice where it is so sorely needed.
All I can say in response, in a most heartfelt way, is f**k yourselves.
Sincerely,

My cheekbones are higher than yours, so I get more!
Eventually Philippe I gave much of it away ~ some to his cousins in France, some to his cousins in Scotland, some to other relatives ~ even some for general colonization by whoever wished ~ that's the old core area called VIRGINIA. That stretched from roughly what is now the Pennsylvania/New York border South to South Carolina/Georgia. The line was smudgy down there since that part was already getting carved into Spanish landgrants.
So, how did the Indians deal with this ~ ?
Well, they didn't except the Brits took care to make sure the locals believed they'd been paid for their land. After the Revolution, and a couple of disasters, the US government took care to do that, as did Canada.
Spain never did any of that although they'd pay ransom to the Comanches for kidnapped people. The Comanches didn't own anything anyway ~ they dressed in Western clothes, used firearms and rode horses.
In the end treaties were signed for disposition of all the land and payments were made. Even the Cherokee were paid for their land albeit in a forced sale ~ the government wanted the gold there dug up and put into circulation (monetarism was a big deal back then so that made taking land easier on the conscience I guess).
There are no Indians to whom the US owes any money for land ~ it's been paid. Even the Brits and Canadians made their payments. Spain didn't.
I"d recommend the UNited NATions go see them about it!
While doing that they need to check out the Dutch on this slave thing ~ lots of unpaid bills there.
Sounds like a push for Agenda 21 to get people off rural land and into cities.
