Free trade doesn't destroy borders, governments without the will to defend them destroy borders. The border is not in the least affected by my purchase of a Korean car or a washing machine made in Mexico. Your assertion is completely invalid.

No, I haven't. The freedom to trade my property for that of someone else is as basic a liberty as those of speech or religion. But you and the other protectionists would prefer government bureaucrats to control whom we may trade with -- all in the common interest, of course.

You should really examine your theories when you find yourself actually advocating more government control over our lives.
