I’ve used Firefox since release 3, but starting around release 10 it has stopped playing nice with Adobe PDF files. A crash or two a day occurs, always when a PDF file does not open, although the file that crashed FireFox always opens perfectly with Internet Explorer.

Sill use Firefox but it’s frustrating at times with the PDF crashes.

I had similar PDF problems with an earlier version of FF. The next major upgrade seemed to correct it.

11 has crashed several times.

12 installed yesterday — with a big notice that it didn’t know where this new version came from. [Even Mozilla can’t keep up with its own revsions.]

11 and 12 have problems with Javascript on some sites. Either Java or Mozilla is the problem.

[Upgrades — no matter what they fix, they also break something else.]

Foxit PDF reader/editor works great and is way leaner than acrobat.
