I think the reason that most posters here are not impressed by her looks is because of her so-called scientific "perfection." Humans are attracted to the imperfect, I think, the unique qualities, the quirky. I understand the scientific point as to her symmetry, but for most men (and even women) that makes her merely average.

Her left side does not seem symmetrical to her right. The left eye is thinner and the left corner of her mouth is a touch higher on her face than the right.

Interesting, she is very beautiful. In portrait drawing class we were taught to measure the face a little differently than it is described here.

The eyes are half way between the top of the head and the chin. From the middle of the pupil to the bottom of the nostril was half way between the pupil and the chin. the mouth was half way between the nostril and the chin. The eyes were an eye width apart.

This was the ideal and everyone differed a little and that difference was what made you look like you.

I dated a couple of girls who I thought were picture perfect pretty when I was a young buck. Even my ex-wife was that pretty in her younger days. As pretty as they were, they did not rip me in half with desire. There has been a couple along the way that did, one of which was the one I really wanted to marry (not my ex). Sure, I like pretty. But that “to the bone” attraction and chemistry is hard to get past. . . at least for me, anyway.

There were two girls in my high school who were about as pretty as a girl gets. I recently looked at my old annual and I wasn’t dreaming. They looked as good as I remembered.
