(a) Does Earlicia Latricia remind anybody of Bunifa Sherifa Latifa... of Mad TV fame?
(b) Thinking back about my first husband, maybe she had her reasons
(c) Never mind.
Oh, please. Like there aren’t white people doing the same thing. Don’t you remember the dentist’s wife who backed over him about 17 times?
You are one smart cookie!
That is a lot of keel on her. She looks like she could handle some pretty rough stuff.
Did all my sailing off of Southern CA. Used to run over to Catalina just about every weekend. Miss it pretty bad sometimes.
Why, was he a hood?
She was a beautiful heavy weather boat. We’d be heading out when others were heading for shelter. She had a PHRF in the 4.9 range as I recall. We often trolled for salmon under head sail alone, heading up when a 20+ lb’er would take the line.
Hey, if she was married to William Shatner, this would be considered an audition.
That was an accident.
Actually, more of an ornament.
;^D
Thanks for posting photos. I love seeing fun and success (or success at having fun or having fun at being successful.)
seriously, they should have checked under the hood.
That’s funny. We’d drag a line over to Catalina sometimes. Never caught anything but Barracuda.
I’m on the Puget Sound these days. It’s all Salmon and Crab now.
We were moored at Orcas Island (Deer Harbor). We worked there year round but had the winters for sailing. We used to ply the waters between Puget Sound and the top of Vancouver Island. There are no finer cruising grounds on the planet IMHO.
Ah, the Dungeness. We supped on those at our leisure. :{)
The comment was based more on the name than the action, nick. I understand that whites are equally as dumb.
When I was young and foolish, I voluntarily got on the hood of a car with my friend behind the wheel.
I knew I'd made a mistake when he hit the gas. I was hanging on for dear life while he was weaving back and forth on the road for what seemed like an eternity.
When he stopped, he was laughing so hard as he was telling me that my eyes were as big as saucers. He also told me he had gotten up to 70 miles per hour. It certainly felt like he was going 70. I was so angry I wanted to wring his neck.
Anyhoo, this guy was better off being on the hood than under the wheels. It IS an adrenaline rush. Count me as a member of the Boyz on the Hood club, but not an active member.
I would never join any club that would have me as a member.
OH! That makes more sense. I was wondering why you had that boat in Wisconsin.
