As well as informing your son and daughter, I suggest you file a set of your documents with your church administration, or at least have a letter in their files saying, “Contact so-and-so for Monkey Face’s Will, POA, and trust.” The more people who know about your final wishes and dispositions, the better chance there is of everything’s going smoothly and as you intend.
The Living Trust has to be filed with the state before it is valid, but I have been telling my daughter this morning of the conversations with my son and DIL, so she is also aware. Push comes to shove, she will notify the church leaders.
