We had a precious tuxedo cat (succumbed to FLV at age 15 months) and he and his father (desert feral colony kitties) had that “Evil Kitty Take Over the World” look. He was the most remarkable cat we’ve ever had.

The only shopping small in a small town I visit on business just closed it's off-brand bookstore. There is now NO bookstore in a town of over 20,000 people. The library is basically a bookmobile on blocks.
It's the death of civilization as we know it. I'm seeing this more and more often.
If I wanted life without books I could simply move to . . . Tuscaloosa, Alabama (no, that's not the town; and they do print Bear Bryant coloring books and football recruiting guides).
