The woman, the detective reported, replied that the pair “could go have sexual intercourse if I bought her two double cheese burgers off the dollar menu at McDonald’s.” The cop added, “I agreed to the deal and purchased the hamburgers for $2.75.”

The Dollar Menu has been around for years, but food costs have skyrocketed. They kept the name, but either shrunk the sizes, or charge more than a dollar for a given item.

Afternoon. As usual, clouds are piling up over Lake Park just in time for swim practices.
The forecast says it won’t storm on their meet tomorrow evening, which is good.
Good to hear.
It’s a real nuisance to drive 30 miles across town on a weeknight, only to find that you can’t swim because of storms.
