Cops: Accused Prostitute Offered Undercover Officer Sex For Cheeseburgers Off McDonald's Dollar Menu

The woman, the detective reported, replied that the pair “could go have sexual intercourse if I bought her two double cheese burgers off the dollar menu at McDonald’s.” The cop added, “I agreed to the deal and purchased the hamburgers for $2.75.”

We have steadily-increasing numbers at the Spanish service, but the choir always has a place to sit! 11:00 a.m tends to be SRO.

DP’s trying to arrange a trip to Myrtle Beach with Bill, but Bill is in a fuddlement about his work schedule. It looks like he’d only have to find a sub for one shift. And I need to guarantee a another guitarist for one Sunday!

OIKS!

We have steadily increasing numbers of “investigators” and converts, so chapels are built on a monthly basis. When one ward or stake outgrows the amount of seating, a new ward is built. There is no other way to deal with the rapid growth, worldwide.

We always champion musicians...:o]

Did the neighbor offer the moose some cheese?
And did it bite the neighbors’ sister?

Long-time FR joke...we loves mooses!

Later, Girl!

I champion your musicians, too, and that reminds me that I need to put the CD of "Mormom Tabernacle Choir Sings Patriotic Favorites" in the van for the next few weeks before July 4. Maybe the byos will spontaneously produce brilliant harmonies, with enough exposure!

We have three new priests being ordained - maybe it was this weekend, come to think of it - but we have old ones retiring, too. The Carolinas went through a slow period in priestly vocations, but the Charlotte diocese has recovered and should soon have more local ordinations than retirements, as well as "imports" - from Latin America, Asia, and the lands of the Yanks - moving in.

It would be nice if poor, overworked Father Gary could get a Spanish-speaking assistant, or an African. Ethiopians speak the same language as our local Eritreans, just like we speak the same language as the Yanks ...

Aw, freep. I previewed three times, what with changing the formatting, and still ended up with “Mormom.”

That happens in Alaska, too, but not in North Carolina unless there’s been an escape from the zoo. In fact, they may not even have moose in the zoo, since they’re a common North American mammal, but not really suited to our climate.

There are some American Elk restocked out in the National Parks in the western part of the state.

He’s putting the sand in his mouth. This produces interesting results, in a biochemical sense, at the other end, says the Voice of Experience.

My younger daughter told me a couple of weeks ago that she regularly ate sand as a child. She remembers going face first down a slide so she could get a mouthful of sand upon landing. No wonder her teeth are in such bad shape!

Just like the ancient Egyptians. Prof. Brier, presenter on the Ancient Egypt lectures from The Teaching Company, theorizes that at least one of the dynasties fell because the Pharoah was incapacitated by bad teeth.

Speaking of which, if you like recorded lectures, let me know. I have a lot of topics on CD, suitable for listening while cooking or cleaning, which I would be happy to send you. Emphasis on history and literature.

Uh oh. Have heard that meese are not the friendliest of critters. Please keep Fredd away from moose. Admittedly, am a worriwort. If at first you don’t succeed, better safe than sorry. (That makes as much sense as anything else we’re reading lately.)

Ack! That sounded weird. I meant as nonsensical as anything else we’re reading in terms of world events.

Thanks! My baby just turned 1 in May, so I guess he’s a toddler now. And he’s a big boy - almost 28 pounds and 32 inches tall. He crawls well, and can walk if he holds on to furniture or other objects, but he can’t walk by himself yet. He has a smile (with teeth #7 and #8 coming in) that makes everyone at work, church, etc. comment on how he’s so cute. And he has so much energy that by the time he goes to sleep, I feel like I need to sleep, too. Although, I usually end up working anyway.

Oh I like musicals plenty well; saw “The Music Man” as a kid; folks had the original soundtrack, which I listened to I dunno how many times...

[singing]
How can there be any sin in sincere?
Where is the good in good-bye?...

Saw “Oklahoma” live at the Curran Theater in San Francisco back in the summer of 1979 or 1980, and have seen three or four different productions of it since.

And do NOT even get me started on “Fiddler On The Roof”!

Makes me wish life had a “LIKE” button!

Number Two son was part of a local production of “Joseph...” two years ago, which was just a smash; I loved it. The Director took the kids from raw to stage ready in the course of a couple of months, and they performed in the local Community College theater in a performance complete with lights, combinations of flying sets, movable set pieces, multiple costume changes...those kids were so polished by showtime, they could’ve given most of the college theater groups I’ve seen a serious run for their money; it was REALLY well done.

Then, last year he performed with the same director, and many of the same kids in a production of “Annie Jr.” in which he played President Roosevelt.

The company is performing “Fame” this year, but he’s not signed up this go ‘round. because he’s been cast in a production of “Beauty and the Beast” being brought to the stage by a different theater company: “Poison Apple Productions” to which we have longstanding ties, as several of our children have participated in many of their productions.

We’ve a whole up-and-coming cadre of performers under our roof; with dozens of productions under their belts, already.

The two eldest boys appeared at the Walnut Creek Art & Wine Festival this Saturday and Sunday as part of a Poison Apple production. The two of them staged a sword duel that Number One Son had choreographed himself.

We’re simply neck-deep in plays, musicals, and theatrical productions of all kinds. Four of our tribe even sang with VOENA choir in the Fall Season of 2010.

You’ve GOT to hear this group: http://voena.org/Choir/Home.html

“Mormoms” are the moms who come to church with a train of little “stair-step” children, a babe in her arms and is obviously pregnant.*
