Cops: Accused Prostitute Offered Undercover Officer Sex For Cheeseburgers Off McDonald's Dollar Menu
The woman, the detective reported, replied that the pair could go have sexual intercourse if I bought her two double cheese burgers off the dollar menu at McDonalds. The cop added, I agreed to the deal and purchased the hamburgers for $2.75.

In retrospect, I should have worn a hat.
These days, I can always be spotted at a distance because I’m wearing a big straw sun hat. And speaking of hats, a lady ahead of me in the Walmart line yesterday had frogs embroidered around the brim of a nice straw hat. If I find the really cheap hats again this summer, I may try some embellishment!

What kind of cake was it?

If I wore a big straw sun hat, I’d look like an abalone. Short people can’t wear those gracefully.

I thought I did that. I need a tutorial. Some of us don’t function well without CAI.

I once took a course that allowed me to eat my way through every bakery in the barrio. Yum....

“At least they might be able to read the sign.”
If Sharks made the sign, yes.
Unless he had the coffee first.

Part was chocolate, and part was some other flavor, and there was a cookie layer, and a cream layer. It had white icing decorated with flowers and crosses and the names of the four children, who all belonged to a “Vergara” family which filled four rows of chairs.

"But what if you are selling auto parts ?" If you are selling auto parts, you wait for the customer to come in and ask for them by name.
Customer: "I need something to connect two pieces of my suspension together."
Sales Clerk: "What kind of joint do you think this is?"

Is it just me or is there a lot more roadkill out there these days? I take my dog on the same 4 mile walk thruogh the neighborhood and lately I've had to steer my dog around more and more dead carcasses of chipmunk, rabbits, squirrels, even skunk!
It wouldn't be so bad if my dog was not so bound and determined to grab at the carcass with its teeth. Therefore I must yank at the leash and pull the dog around the carcass. It's becoming a real pain in the butt.

You can’t order something off the menu unless it is on the menu. ???
But then I don’t part my hair, but did part a car. Part of this doesn’t seem right. But we must now part ways. In part so I can grill a steak.

It’s not just you, there’s an awful lot of roadkill out there.
It’s as if the wildlife is committing suicide.

Down on the Road
My wifes cat got killed down on the road the other day,
Expending all of its lives in a futile, final moment.
Probably, its better that it happened quickly,
We wouldnt want the beast to live in torment.
We never got around to giving it a name,
Translating just as friendly sounds,
And we were just some folks it saw,
In making its appointed rounds.
The necessary burial detail fell to me,
Ive had too much of practice in the task.
Id just as soon it fall to someone else,
To let me shrug and wonder if shed ask.
So, have you seen the cat of late?
The poor thing must be ready to come round
No, Dear. I havent seen it,
Its probably in another part of town.
The comfort of not knowing would be welcome.
Instead I have the dread of knowing truth;
That cats will go a-hurrying across a road,
As if the hounds of Hell pursueth.
Cats and highway vehicles dont mix too well,
The feline wiring wont admit,
That there are times and circumstances,
When cat-quick reflexes dont fit.
And thus the grisly task inherits me.
Holding back my tears with stoic face,
I perform a silent duty to a former friend,
Caught between a wheel and a hard place.
Then walking back to put away the shovel,
I have a little time to give it thought.
Please let someone do the same for me,
When I have lost the final battle that I fought.
Just put me down where frost wont make me shiver,
And cover with a blanket made of grass,
Amidst the roots which always smell so pleasant,
Of soda-scented sweetened sassafras.
