If you lose 10% of your net assets with the adoption of one puppy, and 10% of that 90% with the adoption of your next puppy, what is the value of your net worth after the sequential adoption of five puppies? Is that an arithmetic progression, a geometric progression, or something else I've forgotten how to do?
