A Hayward woman was arrested after receiving three speeding tickets in one hour.
How fast is too fast? For a Hayward woman thrown in jail, it was three times in an hour, including twice at speeds over 100 miles an hour, according to reports.
Lynne Kathleen Cahill-Gomez was pulled over for speeding three times between 8:10 p.m. and 9:08 p.m. on Saturday on Highway 70 in Yuba County, according to the Marysville Appeal-Democrat.
She was pulled over for driving a Hyundai SUV 103 miles per hour and then again for going 105 miles per hour by 8:30 p.m. Then, 40 minutes later, she was pulled over for going 76 miles per hour, the newspaper reported.
She told officers she was in a hurry to get to Butte County to care for a sick relative, the newspaper reported.
California Highway Patrol officers arrested her for reckless driving. She was booked into jail but later released, and will be arraigned in Yuba County on April 19.
Never driven one, but my SWAG is that HighyandDry SUV is not safe at those speeds in handling or braking. The tires are not rated for it either. Idiots in years past often ate the big one when their POS bias ply tires blew out at speed.
I’m gonna go out on a limb and say that Ms. Lynne Kathleen Cahill-Gomez is stuck-on-stupid.
I want to know what happened to the sick relative.
A few years back, I got 2 tickets, 70 in a 55 and 75 in a 55 on my way back home from a business trip a couple of hours away so that I could catch the Seinfeld finale. They were 15 mins apart. Pretty silly.
Okay, I gotta say, I think the CHP was perfectly justified in arresting her. I hope a judge takes her license away. Clearly she doesn’t need to be on the road.
First glance I read it as wayward woman.

For any guy she met at the bar????????? Way too slow.
Fast women and faster cars
I once got two speeding tickets in one hour. Was in a hurry to get to my girlfriend’s house. Hadn’t seen her in a few days. Apparently I was addicted.
So she slows her speed down by 29 miles per hour to 76 mph AND THEN THEY ARREST HER? That seems odd to me. Had they arrested her for either of the 100+ mph stops, I would under stand that. Odd.
Gomez might do well to leave her in the slammer.
I can and did read. Just seems odd to me that they arrested her after she slowed her speed 29 mph.
/Washes eyes out with bleach. Man, don’t post pictures like that.
