Never driven one, but my SWAG is that HighyandDry SUV is not safe at those speeds in handling or braking. The tires are not rated for it either. Idiots in years past often ate the big one when their POS bias ply tires blew out at speed.
I’m gonna go out on a limb and say that Ms. Lynne Kathleen Cahill-Gomez is stuck-on-stupid.
I want to know what happened to the sick relative.
A few years back, I got 2 tickets, 70 in a 55 and 75 in a 55 on my way back home from a business trip a couple of hours away so that I could catch the Seinfeld finale. They were 15 mins apart. Pretty silly.
Okay, I gotta say, I think the CHP was perfectly justified in arresting her. I hope a judge takes her license away. Clearly she doesn’t need to be on the road.
First glance I read it as wayward woman.

So she slows her speed down by 29 miles per hour to 76 mph AND THEN THEY ARREST HER? That seems odd to me. Had they arrested her for either of the 100+ mph stops, I would under stand that. Odd.
/Washes eyes out with bleach. Man, don’t post pictures like that.
She automatically has lost her CA Driver’s License.
4 or more pts in a 12 month period and DMV automatically suspends your license.
Any moving violation is 1 point. More severe violations include speeding at 15mph over the posted speed limit and reckless driving, which I believe are 2 pt violations.
I’m surprised they didn’t revoke her license on the 2nd violation at near 100mph, unless the database hadn’t yet updated, or unless they don’t take effect until the hearing date.
I believe she now has a min of 6 points, meaning she loses her driving privileges for 24 months. 2 more points and make it 36mos.
According to dmv.org, a $35 base fine might actually cost $146 after various fees and other surcharges are assessed depending on county. State adds another 20% so a $40 fee costs another $8. Many counties assess a base fee for the first 10-15 mph over the posted speed limit, then another $10/mph in excess of that amount. If so, and assuming she was driving the interstate at 70mph, each ticket cost at least $185 + $36 =$221 plus fees and insurance rate hikes. Wouldn’t be uncommon for it to be a $1000 ticket for each infraction at that speed and situation.
Damned white hispanics.
All that speeding and not one accident?
Perhaps speeding, in and of itself, is not particularly dangerous.
Well, she got more speeding tickets in one hour than I have in 60 years.
