Drop Out Mitt Romney

Posted on 03/26/2012 10:57:00 AM PDT by Advocatus Sancti Sepulchri

I will not vote for Mitt Romney under any circumstance in November. The fact that he is the frontrunner is a disgrace and those that endorse him, those delegates that vote for him, and the establishment have my full contempt. He is the John Kerry of the Republican Party. His record is very liberal on virtually every issue. He is a shameless opportuntist..the etch sketch will reset for the general election. If you support the second amendment, marriage, pro-life cause, etc., how can you justify voting for Mitt Romney? He's treating republicans, or at least conservatives, like idiots while his surrogates plan to dump the weak, phony campaign of faux conservatism at the next step. He will lose worse than Ford, Dole, and McCain.

Again the choice for November will be:

Slow but certain death of a country

vs.

Fast and certain death of a country

Turd Sandwich vs. Giant Douche

I am gonna need a clothesspin for my nose at the voting booth.

I am in a more comfortable position. If Romney needs my vote to carry Tennessee, he has already lost.

He is the John Kerry of the Republican Party.

Look. Romney is probably my last choice, among Republicans. But your associating him with John Kerry is contemptible. Romney has significant private sector experience and, while his military positions aren't the greatest, at least he has never accused service members of atrocities before Congress and elsewhere. And Obama is much worse than Kerry.

He’s not dropping out, no matter what some people here on FR would prefer.

It’s looking very likely he will be the nominee. It will be a choice between a wishy-washy moderate/liberal and an EVIL (yes, I said it), destructive, liberal with a capital L.

I won’t have an issue punching the little circle next to the “R”, no matter who it is. Obama must be defeated.

Total nonsense. Please make your case that Romney can a) win an national election, b) that we can survive Romney as President and c) make a case for Romney as president.

Maybe you don’t understand how truly poisonous Obama is, and how much more freedom he will have in his second term to do his evil bidding. Or maybe you don’t believe that there is a socialist machine behind Obama that has an agenda to radically change this country.
Obama’s 8-years in office IS their window. We must close this window in November. America’s survival counts on it.

I don't a GD who the alternative to Obama is in November, I will be there voting for him.

I have to agree.

We need to dump a ton of email bricks on Ann Coulter non-stop.

She is being a rather despicable enemy of conservatism here. I am assuming that she "sold out".

I think the only firm chance we have to win this thing is Santorum, with an outside chance by Gingrich. Romney is more of the same as compared to Obama, and Newt suffers from only getting back to a +5 favorability rating with those on the Right.

I know—it’s just hard to sit here and realize how really screwed we are. I think most of us are feeling more frustrated than we have ever been before.

The issue isn’t that Romney would be WORSE than Obama, but he would nuke the conservative side, so that there will be NO PRESSURE to REVERSE Obama Radical Desectations of American National Security, Constitutional law, and fiscal integrity.

You and me, both. I’ll vote for “the can”; we can deal with “it” later. If we don’t get that POS out of The White Crib, we’re finished as a Nation. Forever.

Mitt Romney is no moderate, for one, and if you stand for nothing even on core issues..you gain nothing. How does voting for a liberal republican accomplish anything for a conservative? Give me Santorum..give me Newt..give me a real republican, but Willard will not get my vote.

No, we get that. But we can do better than Romney...and we need to to UNDO what the Obama Monster is doing.

I would prefer Newt.

That’s not going to be the choice we have, and I don’t believe in tossing my vote away.

The country is more important to me than the party. Obama must be stopped.

No, I understand qutie clearly how Obama has poisoned the country and how a candidate like Romney will moderately pursue the same agenda, but he’ll crash harder than McCain did in 08. We have to force Romney out for the good of the party and the country.

Of course. Nobody here denies how execrable Zero has been. The question remains do you think replacing him with a leftist “R” (who inspired Zero on nationalizing healthcare !) will somehow make things better ? This is a false set of choices. Horrific Democrat or horrific RINO.

Since when did crony capitalism become the same as private sector experience. I seem to recall Romney saying he knows how to get money and the money is in D.C. He is as liberal on John Kerry..pick an issue. Hell, he has even outdone Kerry on flip-flopping.
