We've shown before how nightmarish and cruel good intentions can be when parenting. You don't want to be your old-fashioned, neglectful parents; no, you're the wave of the future, and your kids are the waviest of the future, and you know it.
And then that entire line of thinking gets completely out of hand and ridiculous stuff like this starts happening.

I’m not sure whether to be glad or sorry that I missed that oe.
Lighthearted? Look at progerssives, ping.
I’ve heard about 2 and 3 yr old kids being breast-fed, and that freaked me out, but 6yrs old? That’s... that’s... well, you know, VG.
Pretty much, yeah.
Imagine the long term effect/consequences this will have on the kid as he grows up having been “nutured” in the utopian collectivist hippie world. What kind of work does mommy do? Just curious.
Indigo Children, How apropos.
No, it isn’t. Cracked is actually correct on these hare-brained trends.
* There is actually a TV show or special on “Indigo Children”, where parents talk about their “indigos”.
* I’ve seen 3 year olds breastfed. I stopped when mine had teeth at six months.
* I had a doula tell me about “orgasmic childbirth”, but after trying regular drug free childbirth, I demanded an epidural.
* “To train up a child” is the anti-Dr. Spock “never discipline them” book. Not always right, but not as wrong as this article.
* This Cracked.com left out “Elimination Communication”, where parents claim to be diaper free and watch their babies and toddlers endlessly for when they’ll pee and poop and then say that every incident is an accident. Parents become child centered because failure means a big mess on the floor. And unlike letting a 2-3 year old child run around outside sans diaper to notice when they go while merely fertilizing the grass, some of these “elimination communication” idiots expect to bring their children into public or your home.
My guess is that they grow up to become OWS.
Unbelievable.
I’m surprised they didn’t mention the trend of the mother “eating the placenta” that was popular about 10 years ago.
I'm glad I already finished supper.
I imagine you have heard how many Mexican/Latino moms raise their young sons up to the age of 6-8 right?
It’s to build up their “Macho”.
Pretty sick.....
